Regulations


Quality policy

The quality of medical information is a major component of public healthcare, in particular information relating to medicines supplied to healthcare professionals.

In October 2014, the pharmaceutical union LEEM and the price-setting body CEPS signed the new Promotional Information Charter which covers prospecting for customers and promoting medicines (the Charter), and in March 2017 HAS published new certification benchmarks. The purpose of these texts is to guarantee the quality of the information shared with healthcare professionals and to ensure the correct use of medicines within the framework of promoting those medicines.

In order to ensure that healthcare professionals receive high-quality information on correct use and that ethical and regulatory standards are adhered to (the public health code, transparency laws and the Charter) when we promote the medicines of our client laboratories, several years ago we adopted a quality policy which is constantly updated and enhanced.

Every year we review this quality policy, which covers the sharing of information when prospecting for clients and promoting our medicines, and we disseminate it throughout our organisation to ensure that our staff respect and implement the guidelines set out in the Charter and the certification benchmarks and that our promotional activities meet ethical and regulatory standards.

Our staff involved in promotional activities are thus obliged to respect the regulations and ethical guidelines whenever and wherever they meet with healthcare professionals.

PHARMAFIELD Groupe is certified to conduct promotional visits to healthcare professionals and to hospitals and has committed to having its promotional activities certified by an accredited body in order to ensure that it respects its commitments.

Compliance is one of Pharmafield’s strong suits

Pharmafield Groupe and its staff apply and respect:

Pharmafield monitors its staff’s compliance with legal requirements and internal procedures as well as with the procedures of partner laboratories, particularly in terms of PR. Pharmafield trains all its staff in anti-corruption legislation. Pharmafield Groupe ensures that all its staff comply with anti-corruption legislation. Pharmafield has introduced a Code of Ethics and Anti-Corruption which is made available to all staff via the company’s intranet. The Legal and Quality Control Manager also acts as Compliance Officer.



Drug safety, Complaints and Infomed

Pharmafield Groupe’s staff respect and apply the legal framework and procedures of the laboratory that they are representing and receive regular training in good practices and procedures relating to drug safety, complaints about pharmaceutical quality and requests for scientific information. Declarations relating to drug safety, complaints about pharmaceutical quality and requests for scientific information are recorded in its database so that it can respond to enquiries from partner laboratories and the authorities. Pharmafield electronically and physically archives drug safety declaration forms and quality complaint forms, and also electronically archives scientific information request forms.

Date Protection Law

The Legal and Quality Control Manager has been designated as the Data Protection Officer and therefore oversees
